What is PS3 Proxy Server ?

PS3 proxy server is a proxy server which working as mediator betwen your computer and Internet. When you surf and play games, your Internet protocol (IP) address is obtainable through the web.Using a proxy server protects your identity. PS3 Proxy server is a proxy which can use for the PS3 gaming console through Internet Settings.

How to Use PS3 Proxy Server ? 

• Write down the proxy address. or find it here
• Go to network setting in the setting option in the media bar at your PS3. Press X for the internet connection settings.
• If you are currently connected to the internet then press "Yes". This option is unavailable if you are not connected to internet.
• Move your cursor to Costum Option with d-pad. Press Right - Auto Detect - Right - Automatic IP setting - Right.
• When screen showing the DHCP host name , just sellect "Do Not Set" and press Right 3 times.
• On the Proxy Server screen select "use" with pussing down key. Press Right. Push X to show the virtual keyboard of your PS3
• Insert proxy IP address or ps3 proxy server name and the proxy port address ( ussually 80). Push Right - X to save changes.
